Establish Scholarly Identity through Programmatic Research

Establish Scholarly Identity through Programmatic Research

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The Parasuraman Centre for Citizen-centric Service Excellence at BIM Trichy is organizing a one-day Faculty Development Program on creating impactful research through Programmatic Research for academicians and research scholars. Programmatic research is a systematic, step-by-step approach to conducting impactful research by focusing on a cohesive, multi-study agenda rather than on disjointed, one-off projects. In his illustrious academic career, Dr A. Parasuraman felt that sustained, interconnected research streams have enabled him to develop the SERVQUAL model, which has a lot of real-world applications. The One-day program aims to introduce participants to the principles of programmatic research and demonstrate its relevance for conducting structured, rigorous, and impactful research within their respective domains. To supplement the session, there would be a workshop on Meta SEM(Meta-Analytic Structural Equation Modeling – MASEM)

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

The key objectives of the programme are to:
1) Familiarise participants with the concept and scope of programmatic research.
2) Examine the processes and approaches associated with programmatic research.
3) Enable participants to apply this approach to research and intellectual contributions.
4) To expose the participant to Meta SEM for doing impactful research.
5) To collaborate with BIM for research in public service domain under the mentorship of Prof. A. Parasuraman and Dr. Ajay Kumar Chauhan.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The programme is designed for academicians, researchers, and doctoral students with an interest in academic writing and scholarly publication.
