Dr. Nachiappan is a Professor of Operations and Logistics Management and Supply Chains at the University of Sussex UK. He has 23 years of experience including 21 years in academia and 2 years in a consulting company. He has a teaching experience in the UK, China, Australia, and India. In the past, he was a consultant and led software consultancy projects based in India. He is recognized as the fellow of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) UK and a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK. He has published 94 peer-reviewed refereed research papers. His research areas are sustainable supply chains (environmental and social/humanitarian issues), risk and resilience, technology-enabled operations and marketing interface, and performance measurement.
