Honors / Awards/ Academic Experience:

Dr. K Adhinarayanan has been Conferred the prestigious Commonwealth Fellow in IT Services (2015) by Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK, funded by UK Department of International Development (DFID), London, England, UK.

He has worked in the University of East London, Docklands Campus, London, UK and has visited several Universities in the UK, especially Oxford, Cambridge, Liverpool, University of Nottingham, University of Greenwich.

He has 28+ years of rich experience in the field of Library and Information Science, Services and practical librarianship. He has successfully guided two Ph.D scholars and two more scholars are doing their research under his guidance.

He has rich experience in LIS field especially ICT applications in the Library Services and experiences in Library Management and Information System.

He has served in several institutions such as Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Amrita University, Coimbatore, GIM Coimbatore and Coimbatore Stock Exchange Ltd.

He has sound knowledge in the area of Library Modernization, ICT implementation like RFID technology. Has participated and presented papers in various national and international conferences and has published articles in national journals.

He is an expert in rendering technical support services in research and publications.
