Mr. T R Ramachandran serves as Senior Vice President and Head of New Payment Flows, Asia Pacific Region – VISA, currently based out of Singapore.

Previously, he served as Group Country Manager – India and South Asia – VISA based out of Mumbai (January 2015 – April 2022).

Before his stint with VISA, Mr. Ramachandran was the MD and CEO of Aviva, India (2008-2014).
Mr. Ramachandran had worked in various roles with Citibank, India, for nearly 20 years.

c)       Distribution Director and Product & Marketing Director – Cards (2000-2004)

Mr. Ramachandran completed the Senior Executive Advanced Management Program at Columbia Business School, USA.

He was a Member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Committee on Financial Inclusion and Fintech. He also served as Executive Committee Member of the Payment Council of India.

He was recognized on ‘LinkedIn Power Profile CEO List’ in 2015 and was voted “India’s hottest young executives under 40” by Business Today. He was also recognized as one of the “Top 30 Fintech Influencers” in 2021.

Besides his outstanding professional achievements, Mr. T R Ramachandran supported his alma mater as a Member of the Academic Council and interacted with the students and alums of the institute on various occasions.
