About Us  

The Catalyst Club at BIM Trichy is the dynamic hub for system and analytics enthusiasts, and it stands as one of the most vibrant clubs on our campus. Our club is relatively young, but our passion for analytics knows no bounds. At Catalyst, we thrive on organizing exciting inter-college and intra-college events like hackathons, E-Sports competitions, quizzes, and more. These events not only fuel our enthusiasm but also enhance our skills in the realm of analytics, deepening our understanding of the business world. Beyond our exciting events, the Catalyst Club plays a crucial role in managing BIM’s IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless connectivity across our campus. We oversee the administration of the Computer Centre and all of BIM’s networks, which includes the Local Area Network and Wireless Network. Our responsibilities also extend to managing a wide range of peripherals, such as modems, Wi-Fi devices, printers, scanners, projectors, and LAN ports. We take pride in ensuring that internet connections are well maintained in classrooms, the computer center, and hostels, with a strong focus on network security.
