BISMARC Clubs & Committees

Bismarc one of the oldest clubs of the institution, was founded on 21st October 1991 with 32 years running. Marketing is more about observation, creativity, out of the box ideas, which Bismarc helps to explore live with zero risk before you get into the real marketing world. It also helps to explore more marketing experience for the students through various year-round events, case study competitions, and industry live projects in the domain of strategy, marketing consultancy, branding, and market research. The club has been proactive in corporate relations and helping them connect to the students of BIM Trichy through guest talks, and workshops.  

Our major events in the past have been Brand Storm, Make your Marc 2.0, Three and our Flagship event Marwar and many more to come. 

BISMARC, “The  Marketing Club ” stands as a testament to the unwavering passion and dedication of marketing enthusiasts at BIM Trichy. Founded in 1991, BISMARC is a 32-year-old club guided by the words of marketing luminary Seth Godin: “Marketing is no longer about the stuff you make, it’s about the stories you tell.” The club helps students create a platform to craft remarkable stories in the world of marketing. 

 We understand that marketing is no longer confined to textbooks and classrooms; it’s a dynamic field that thrives on observation, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking. We thereby provide students with opportunities to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings by organizing a variety of events and activities.  

Our Key Signature Events are: 

  1. MARWAR: A flagship event conducted by PGP-2 BISMARC club members for PGP-1 students, it is a week-long extravaganza that fuels the entrepreneurial spirit among students by exposing them to the various stages of Marketing a new product/idea. 
  2. MARCETHLON: An event open to both PGP-1 and PGP-2 students, it provides a fun learning experience where marketing concepts are applied creatively and engagingly. The event’s design changes each year, keeping the experience fresh and exciting. 

BISMARC also provides students with numerous opportunities to gain practical marketing experience through year-round case study competitions and industry live projects in the domains of strategy, marketing consultancy, branding, and market research. The club emphasizes learning by doing, where students can explore the exciting world of marketing with zero risk before stepping into the real marketing industry.
