Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchirappalli, in partnership with the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA), successfully completed a two-day “Leadership Development Program” for TN E-District Managers on July 05, 2024 at Hotel Kodai International, Kodaikanal. 75 participants from various districts of Tamil Nadu attended this program. Tmt. Chitra Vijayan, I.A.S., Joint Director (e-Gov) & Joint Chief Executive Officer, TNeGA and Tmt. Priya, DRO/Joint Director (Tech), TNeGA, were presented at this event.
Dr. Asit K. Barma, Director of BIM Trichy emphasized the need to enhance India’s Digital Readiness Index and highlighted the economic value of digital readiness in his inaugural speech.
The two-day program was meticulously structured into various modules led by our esteemed faculty members. Dr. R. Subramaniam delivered a comprehensive module on Leadership Development, covering crucial aspects such as self-awareness, emotional intelligence for leaders, and actionable leadership plans. He also conducted a module on Stakeholder Management, delving into process management, critical influencing, and negotiation techniques. Dr. S.N. Raghvendra conducted sessions on Time Management and Developing Individual Effectiveness. His topics included the importance of delegation, conflict management, and task categorization based on urgency and importance. Additionally, Prof. S.V.V. led an interactive module on Data Analysis and Visualization for Public Policy, focusing on the use of Excel for data functions, basic big data concepts, and data visualization techniques.
