Anjan has 20 years of experience in Market Research having started his career with the erstwhile ORG MARG Media Research Team working on the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) as well as customized media projects for key clients in TV and Radio.
He is an expert in sampling and weighting techniques, having worked extensively on customized and syndicated research projects on Print, Television and Digital media audiences. He has spearheaded the IRS Research Team between 2003 and 2005 and led key Hansa initiatives like developing the HPI (Household Premiumness Index) and iLAP (IRS Local Area Potential). Other than Media and FMCG, Anjan has a vast experience working with clients across the BFSI, Telecom, Auto and Retail industry.
He is currently leading a team of young and talented Quantitative Researchers across the three branches – Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.He is a Pharmacy Graduate from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and done his Post Graduation in Communications from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmadabad (MICA) with a specialization in Marketing Research.Prior to joining the MR industry, he has worked with Wockhardt Super-Speciality Division in Pharma Sales
